Speech Therapy


Pediatric speech therapy assists children with, but not limited to, developemental delays, language delays, articulation and speech delays, fluency disorders, voice disorders, oral motor disorders, and dysphagia. Speech therapy assists with improving language, speech, and communication skills, participation with peers and participation within the environment. Speech therapy goal include but are not limited to:

  • Functional concepts such as colors, shapes, spatial concepts, counting, etc

  • Improving receptive and expressive language

  • Improving speech and intelligibility

  • Improving attention to task

  • Improving socialization by teaching patient how to initiate conversations and topic maintenance

  • Improving ability to answer and ask questions

  • Learning to assistance communication devices.
